Emily VanCamp
Emily Irene VanCamp (Canadian actress) is best known for her roles as a lead actress in numerous television shows, however, she also has impressive roles in films. Her fan base is large both on American and Canadian television. Emily's love for acting first began at the age of 12 when she was visiting her sister Katie who was filming one of Katie's films. She began taking classes in acting and auditions following realizing she was passionate about acting. The first time she auditioned was with small amount of advertisements and then was included in the show Are You Are You Afraid of The Dark the Canadian horror series for children. which featured her in a single scene with any dialogue. In the year 15 she made her breakthrough when she became a regular on the WB series Glory Days. Even though the show was cancelled after just nine episodes, Emily's acting was noticed by Dawson's Creek writer Greg Berlanti who decided to cast her in his TV show Everwood. Emily was also a dancer, as well as a photographer. Teen once named her as one of the top actors under the age of twenty. The Maxim's Hot 100 List of 2014 placed Emily at number 51.
