Julia-roberts
Julia Fiona Roberts was born in Atlanta on October 28, 1967 to Betty Lou Bredemus and Walter Grady Roberts. She is the fourth Roberts generation living in Atlanta from her great-grandfather who was a farmer John Pendleton Roberts. Her father took his first steps towards theater. He acted on his Emory University campus in 1952 and in other productions around Atlanta. In 1953, he joined the Air Force, and was stationed at Biloxi in Mississippi, he appeared in a production with Betty Lou Bredemus. The couple married in 1955 and the couple's first child Eric Anthony was born in 1956. In 1957, the couple left the air force and Walter began his studies at Tulane University in New Orleans Louisiana. Walter began working for Atlanta Academy Theater and Harrington Scenic and Lighting Studio in 1960. Walter and Betty Lou started production in 1964 on the local kids' Saturday morning TV show Bum Bum and His Buddies and their Buddies, which they themselves funded. The following year they started The Actors and Writers Workshop which ran for six years. They welcomed in 1965 two more children into their lives: Lelisa Billingsley and Julia Billingsley.
