Aspen Ladd
Aspen Ladd was 14 when she started to take part in combat sports. Aspen Ladd trained in BJJ, kickboxing, boxing and wrestling before making her debut as an amateur at WCFC when she was 18. Ladd went on an impressive 3 fight winning streak at Ultimate Reno Combat. In the three fights, she defeated her opponent in the very first round. Then, she went to WCFC to win again, beating Leslie Rodriguez in a unanimous decision. Aspen was already defeated Silvia Baeghian and Maddy Simmons, before taking on Cynthia Calvillo. Cynthia beat Aspen, and beat her in a unanimously voted victory. Cynthia's records as a professional were affected. Ladd was victorious in her subsequent match with Roma Pawelek to improve to an 8-1 record. Aspen was a professional when she entered the ranks in 2015. Aspen signed with Invicta FC and made her debut. Invicta 11 saw her dominate Ana Carolina Vidal to score a TKO in the first round. She won her next fight in the ring against Amanda Cooper via second-round armbar submission, and then moved up to bantamweight to fight at Invicta FC 16. Aspen's impressive wrestling skills defeated McGill as she was able to end her in the third round by TKO (elbows as well as punches). Aspen next faced Jessica Hoy (138.1lb at Invicta FC) in an "catchweight"(138.1lb) due to the fact that Ladd did not make weight. Aspen, however, defeated Hoy through TKO. Invicta FC 28 was her final bout with the club. Invicta FC 22 saw Sijara Eubanks beaten by a unanimous verdict. Aspen Ladd was the first UFC fighter to debut. She fought Linalansberg at UFC Fight Night 118. She dominated Lina with a combination of ground and pound. She won the TKO round at the end of the 2nd. Ladd remained in the lead as she picked up another big win over Tonya Avinger at UFC 229 with her next fight. Ladd won the fight at the start of round one, and received the Performance of the Night bonus. Invicta FC's Sijara Ebanks was her opponent in the rematch that took place at UFC Fight Night dos Anjos against Lee. It was the fighter's first big fight. Ladd was the winner of the night's main event fight bonus fight after the two fighters engaged in hard in a tense fight back and forth. Ladd's first loss came in her next fight against Germaine de Randamie in Ladd's first UFC main event fight. Randamie was able to finish the fight in just 16 seconds and stop Ladd and her streak. Yana Knitskaya lost in the third at UFC 7.7 on ESPN. In her place She fought Norma Dumont in her most recent UFC fight. Her defeat was decided by unanimous decision.
