Actor Katherine Heigl is opening her mind about being raised in an environment that was a "white bubble" and how the realization has affected how she raises her multiracial adopted children. The "Firefly Lane" as well as "Grey's Anatomy" star shared in a recent interview that in regards to the color of her skin, it wasn't a factor for her what she wore however, after speaking to her older sister, whom she adoptive from South Korea, she realized that society was different when it came to each of both. Meg was asked if her treatment was different when they were out together with their parents, and when they went alone. Meg replied "Oh Yes! All the times!" Heigl spoke to Parents about when she realized her ignorance. Heigl admitted she became frustrated and thought it was important to focus the anger she felt on her adopted daughters. Heigl has a son who is four years with Josh Kelley, her husband over the last 13 years. They adopted Nancy Leigh (age 12) from South Korea and Adalaide (age 8) with a black complexion, in 2009.
